NORMA NICOLO

I developed a love of style and beauty at an early age. My mother inspired me with her artistic eye, which fueled her passion for a beautiful home and garden. As an accomplished seamstress, the skills she taught me opened up a new world and a fascination for fabric. The effect that colors, construction and design could produce captivated me and became the direction of my life’s work.

My professional career began in the fashion world in New York City. I was fortunate to have worked for an icon of the industry that allowed me access to the world’s renowned designers and their showrooms. Each one was an amazing mix of personality, style and color. As life would have it, I moved to Philadelphia to raise my family. I traded my Vogue magazines’ for Architectural Digest and found my true calling as an interior designer. For my home I choose rich color palettes layered with family heirlooms, antiques and simple country finds. But, each of my clients has a different aesthetic all their own and I get to live vicariously through the designs I create for them. This is what I love about my job!
